NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Lymphocytes proliferate and differentiate in response to various concentrations of different antigens. The ability of the B cell to respond in a specific, yet sensitive manner to the various antigens is achieved with the use of low-affinity antigen receptors. This gene encodes a cell surface molecule which assembles with the antigen receptor of B lymphocytes in order to decrease the threshold for antigen receptor-dependent stimulation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
CD19: a cell surface molecule which assembles with the antigen receptor of B lymphocytes. A critical signal transduction molecule that regulates B lymphocyte development, activation, and differentiation. Ligation increases intracellular calcium levels and decreases the threshold for antigen receptor signaling. Germinal center formation is significantly reduced in CD19-deficient mice.

Product Notes
The CD19 cd19 (Catalog #AAA1802097) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Hu CD19 Alexa Fluor700 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD19 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (QC tested), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). FC/FACS: The reagent is designed for analysis of human blood cells using 4ul reagent/100ul of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (0.4 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD19 cd19 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD19, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
