ELISA (Cap): 1:100
ICC: 1:100
IP: 1:100
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot of lysates from BEAS normal lung cells (lane 1), NCIH28 mesothelial cells (lane 2), NCI-H1299 lung cancer cells (lane 3), LNCaP prostate cancer cells (lane 4), MCF7 breast cancer cells (lane 5), and A431 skin adenocarcinoma (lane 6). The blot was probed with mouse monoclonal anti-CD147 (CM0361) at 1:1000.)
Immunocytochemistry (ICC)
(Immunocytochemical labeling of CD147 in paraformaldehyde fixed human NCI-H1915 lung carcinoma cells. The cells were labeled with mouse monoclonal anti-CD147 (CM0361). The antibody was detected using goat anti-mouse Ig:DyLight 594.)
Standard Curve
(Representative Standard Curve using mouse monoclonal CD147 (CM0361) for ELISA capture of human recombinant CD147 extracellular region with a His tag. Capture was detected using anti-His tag antibody followed by appropriate secondary antibody HRP conjugate.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma membrane protein that is important in spermatogenesis, embryo implantation, neural network formation, and tumor progression. The encoded protein is also a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
BSG: Plays pivotal roles in spermatogenesis, embryo implantation, neural network formation and tumor progression. Stimulates adjacent fibroblasts to produce matrix metalloproteinases (MMPS). May target monocarboxylate transporters SLC16A1, SLC16A3 and SLC16A8 to plasma membranes of retinal pigment epithelium and neural retina. Seems to be a receptor for oligomannosidic glycans. In vitro, promotes outgrowth of astrocytic processes. Enriched on the surface of tumor cells. Up-regulated in gliomas. Its expression levels correlate with malignant potential of the tumor. Forms homooligomers in a cis-dependent manner on the plasma membrane. Forms a complex with MMP1 at the tumor cell surface. Interacts with SLC16A1 and SLC1A3; probably a BSG dimer is associated with a monocarboxylate transporter dimer. Interacts with ATP1B2, MAG and L1CAM. Interacts with AJAP1. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The CD147 bsg (Catalog #AAA474235) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD147/Emmprin/Basigin (Extracellular region) M036 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD147/Emmprin/Basigin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA)Cap, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:2000 ELISA (Cap): 1:100 ICC: 1:100 IP: 1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD147 bsg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD147/Emmprin/Basigin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
