Mouse anti-Human Calnexin (CNX) Monoclonal Antibody | anti-CNX antibody
Monoclonal Antibody to Calnexin (CNX)
Immunohistochemistry: 5-30ug/mL
Immunocytochemistry: 5-30ug/mL
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the calnexin family of molecular chaperones. The encoded protein is a calcium-binding, endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-associated protein that interacts transiently with newly synthesized N-linked glycoproteins, facilitating protein folding and assembly. It may also play a central role in the quality control of protein folding by retaining incorrectly folded protein subunits within the ER for degradation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
Calnexin: a calcium-binding protein of the calreticulin family. A type I membrane protein of the endoplasmic reticulum .Interacts with newly synthesized glycoproteins in the endoplasmic reticulum. May act in assisting protein assembly and/or in the retention within the ER of unassembled protein subunits. It seems to play a major role in the quality control apparatus of the ER by the retention of incorrectly folded proteins.

Product Notes
The CNX canx (Catalog #AAA2090611) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Monoclonal Antibody to Calnexin (CNX) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Calnexin (CNX) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Western Blot: 0.5-5ug/mL Immunohistochemistry: 5-30ug/mL Immunocytochemistry: 5-30ug/mL. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CNX canx for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Calnexin (CNX), Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
