Related Product Information for anti-AP1B1 antibody
Adaptins are essential for the formation of adaptor complexes of clathrin-coded vesicles. Adaptins interact with the cytoplasmic domains of membrane-spanning receptors in the course of their endocytic/exocytic transport. They represent 1 of at least 4 components of intracellular transport and receptor downregulation pathways, the others being alpha/beta/gamma-adaptins, receptors, and ligand molecules. beta-adaptins have a bipartite structure with invariant N-terminal and variable C-terminal domains. The former interact with the uniform component of coded vesicles, the clathrin lattice. In contrast, the C-terminal domain provides a set of recognition sequences for other proteins and therefore functions as part of a selector domain responsible for the specific entrapment of membrane-bound proteins in vesicles.

Product Notes

The AP1B1 ap1b1 (Catalog #AAA474170) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The beta-Adaptin (N-terminal region) Antibody reacts with Human, Rat, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's beta-Adaptin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). ELISA: 1:2000 WB: 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AP1B1 ap1b1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "beta-Adaptin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
