Related Product Information for LTN elisa kit
Intended Uses: This WRS ELISA kit is to be used for the determination of Tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase (WRS) in human serum and cell lysate. This kit is intended for research use only!!Background/Introduction: WRS was the first aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase(ARS) for which cytokine activities have been propozed among ARSs. WRS is regulated not only at the level of posttranslational proteolysis, but also at the levels of transcription initiation and alternative splicing. It was shown that gene expression of WRS is regulated by interferon-gamma(IFN-gamma). At present time, major alternative form (mini-WRS) with reduced NH-terminus blocks EGF-induced angiogenesis by initiating apoptosis of endothelial cells. Interestingly, WRSinduced apoptosis similarly to AIMP1 induced apoptosis concentration dependent and is observed only at concentration of WRS>50 nM.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the chemokine superfamily. Chemokines function in inflammatory and immunological responses, inducing leukocyte migration and activation. The encoded protein is a member of the C-chemokine subfamily, retaining only two of four cysteines conserved in other chemokines, and is thought to be specifically chemotactic for T cells. This gene and a closely related family member are located on the long arm of chromosome 1. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2010]

Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The Goat LTN xcl1 (Catalog #AAA734427) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA734427 ELISA Kit recognizes Goat LTN. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Lymphotactin, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
