Factor X-activator 1 light chain 1 (LC1) Recombinant Protein | LC1 recombinant protein
Recombinant Vipera ammodytes ammodytes Factor X-activator 1 light chain 1 (LC1)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
Function: Regulatory subunit of the blood coagulation factor X-activating enzyme. Activates coagulation factor X (F10) in a calcium-dependent manner by cleaving the Arg-Ile bond at position 234. Weakly hydrolyzes insulin B chain, fibrinogen and some components of the extracellular matrix in vitro, but does not activate prothrombin or plasminogen.
Subunit structure: Heterotrimer; disulfide-linked. The heterotrimer consists of 1 heavy chain (a metalloproteinase) and 2 light chains: LC1 and LC2.
Subcellular location: Secreted.
Tissue specificity: Expressed by the venom gland.
Post-translational modification: N-glycosylated.
Miscellaneous: Calcium is required for ligand binding.
Sequence similarities: Belongs to the snake venom lectin family.Contains 1 C-type lectin domain.

Product Notes
The Factor X-activator 1 light chain 1 (LC1) lc1 (Catalog #AAA1205554) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli or Yeast or Baculovirus or Mammalian Cell and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 1-13. Partial-length. The amino acid sequence is listed below: DFDCPSDWVS YDQ (There are two 'X' in the original sequence (P0C8J2), X refer to any amino acid The 'X' have been already been replaced with 'S' in the sequence. Please note the Vipera ammodytes ammodytes Factor X-activato r 1 light chain 1 (LC1) protein sequence is referred to as partial as this protein hasn't been fully defined in the literature. Researcher s should verify the MBS1205554 sequence is the sequence they are seeking prior to ordering or provide the accession number of interest.). It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Factor X-activator 1 light chain 1 (LC1), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
