(Recombinant JAK3 (781-1124) protein 10% SDS-PAGE gel with Coomassie blue staining MW: 39.8 kDa Purity: >80%.)
Testing Data
(HTRF assay for JAK3 (781-1124) activity 1 uM TK substrate was incubated with different concentrations of JAK3 (781-1124) protein in a 10 ul reaction system containing 1×Enzymatic Buffer, 5 mM MgCl2, 1 mM DTT, and 100 uM ATP for 1 hour. Then 10 ul detection reagents containing TK antibody (1:2) and SA-XL665 (1:100) diluted with 1× Detection Buffer were added and incubated with the reactions for 30 min. All the operations and reactions were performed at room temperature. HTRF assay was used for detection.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Janus kinase (JAK) family of tyrosine kinases involved in cytokine receptor-mediated intracellular signal transduction. It is predominantly expressed in immune cells and transduces a signal in response to its activation via tyrosine phosphorylation by interleukin receptors. Mutations in this gene are associated with autosomal SCID (severe combined immunodeficiency disease). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
JAK3: a non-receptor tyrosine-kinase of the Jak family expressed predominantly in immune cells. Mediates signal transduction via the common gamma-chain of cytokine receptors, including IL-2, -4, -7, -9, and -15. Interacts with members of the STAT (signal transduction and activators of transcription) family. Interacts with STAM2 and SHB. Contains two protein kinase domains. Mutations that abrogate JAK3 function cause an autosomal SCID (severe combined immunodeficiency disease). Inhibitor: R017s for organ transplants. Three differentially spliced isoforms have been described.

Product Notes
The JAK3 jak3 (Catalog #AAA389417) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Baculovirus and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "JAK3, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
