Application Notes
This isotype control is provided in liquid format for application in flow cytometry. 1 ug is the maximum amount of reagent required for 1x10^6 cells. Lesser amount of reagent may be required and it is recommended that the customer determine the optimum amount for each application. When using isotype controls as negative controls, it is recommended that the amount of isotype control and the testing antibody used be equivalent.
Preparation
Normal Goat IgG fractionated from goat serum was conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate.
Buffers and Preservatives
This product is provided in 0.01M Sodium Phosphate, 0.25M NaCl and it contains 0.05% sodium azide (NaN3) as a preservative. A highly purified grade of BSA has been added as a stabilizing protein to bring the final concentration to 15 mg/ml after conjugation.
Preparation and Storage
Stable at 4 degree C. For long term storage, aliquot and freeze unused portions at -20 degree C in volumes appropriate for single usage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles and prolonged exposure to light. If the reagent is being diluted, it is recommended that the quantity to be used within one week be diluted.
