Related Product Information for NEFL recombinant antibody
Neurofilaments are type IV intermediate filament heteropolymers composed of light (L), medium (M), and heavy (H) chains. Neurofilaments are a component of the axon cytoskeleton and functionally maintain neuronal caliber. They may also play a role in intracellular transport to axons and dendrites. Mutations in the Neurofilament-L cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease types 1F (CMT1F) and 2E (CMT2E), disorders of the peripheral nervous system that are characterized by distinct neuropathies. Product Notes

The NEFL nefl (Catalog #AAA23874) is a Recombinant Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti-Neurofilament-L Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody [BLR224K] reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Neurofilament-L can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). WB: 1:1000 IP: 20 ul/mg lysate IHC: 1:100 to 1:500. Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6.0 or Tris-EDTA pH 9.0 is recommended for FFPE tissue sections. ICC: 1:100 to 1:500. Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for FFPE cell sections. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NEFL nefl for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Neurofilament-L, Monoclonal Recombinant Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
