Related Product Information for IL-10RB recombinant protein
Interleukin-10 receptor subunit beta(IL10RB), also known as Cytokine receptor class-II member 4, Cytokine receptor family 2 member 4, Interleukin-10 receptor subunit 2, belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family. IL10RB is a single- pass type I membrane protein and contains two fibronectin type-III domains. It is an accessory chain which is essential for the active interleukin 10 receptor complex. Coexpression of IL10RB and IL10RA proteins has been shown to be required for IL10-induced signal transduction. Defects in IL10RB are the cause of inflammatory bowel disease type 25 (IBD25) which is a chronic, relapsing inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract with a complex etiology.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the cytokine receptor family. It is an accessory chain essential for the active interleukin 10 receptor complex. Coexpression of this and IL10RA proteins has been shown to be required for IL10-induced signal transduction. This gene and three other interferon receptor genes, IFAR2, IFNAR1, and IFNGR2, form a class II cytokine receptor gene cluster located in a small region on chromosome 21. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Shared cell surface receptor required for the activation of five class 2 cytokines: IL10, IL22, IL26, IL28, and IFNL1. The IFNLR1/IL10RB dimer is a receptor for the cytokine ligands IFNL2 and IFNL3 and mediates their antiviral activity. The ligand/receptor complex stimulate the activation of the JAK/STAT signaling pathway leading to the expression of IFN-stimulated genes (ISG), which contribute to the antiviral state.

Product Notes

The IL-10RB il10rb (Catalog #AAA2552788) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Met20-Ser220. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL-10 Receptor Subunit beta/IL-10RB, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
