Related Product Information for IL10RB / IL10R2 recombinant protein
Background: Interleukin 10 receptor, beta subunit (IL10RB/IL-10RB) also known as Cytokine receptor family 2 member 4, Interleukin-10 receptor subunit 2, and cytokine receptor family II, member 4, is a subunit for the interleukin-10 receptor. IL10RB/IL-10RB belongs to the cytokine receptor family. It is an accessory chain essential for the active interleukin 10 receptor complex. Coexpression of this and IL10RA proteins has been shown to be required for IL10-induced signal transduction. Defects in IL10RB/IL-10RB are the cause of inflammatory bowel disease type 25 (IBD25). It is a chronic, relapsing inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract with a complex etiology. It is subdivided into Crohn disease and ulcerative colitis phenotype s. Crohn disease may affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract from the mouth to the anus, but most frequently it involves the terminal ileum and colon. Bowel inflammation is transmural and discontinuous; it may contain granulomas or be associated with intestinal or perianal fistulas. In contrast, in ulcerative colitis, the inflammation is continuous and limited to rectal and colonic mucosal layers; fistulas and granulomas are not observed. Both diseases include extraintestinal inflammation of the skin, eyes, or joints.

Description: A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain of mouse IL10RB (NP_032375.2) (Met 1-Ser 222) was fused with the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.

Uniprot Description

IL10RB: Shared cell surface receptor required for the activation of five class 2 cytokines: IL10, IL22, IL26, IL28, and IL29. Defects in IL10RB are the cause of inflammatory bowel disease type 25 (IBD25). It is a chronic, relapsing inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract with a complex etiology. It is subdivided into Crohn disease and ulcerative colitis phenotypes. Crohn disease may affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract from the mouth to the anus, but most frequently it involves the terminal ileum and colon. In contrast, in ulcerative colitis, the inflammation is continuous and limited to rectal and colonic mucosal layers; fistulas and granulomas are not observed. Both diseases include extraintestinal inflammation of the skin, eyes, or joints. Belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family.

Product Notes

The IL10RB / IL10R2 il10rb (Catalog #AAA2546761) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The secreted recombinant mouse IL10RB Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises comprises 442 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 50.5 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rm IL10RB/Fc monomer is approximately 65-75 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL10RB / IL10R2 il10rb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL10RB / IL10R2, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
