RTU ELISA Kit's Advantage
The Ready-To-Use (RTU) Kits require fewer steps in setup and take less time to run. Detection Solutions are pre-diluted and total incubation time is shorter than many other ELISA Kits.
Preparation and Storage
For unopened kits: All the reagents should be kept at 4 degree C upon receipt.
For opened kits: Once the kit is opened, the remaining reagents still need to be stored according to the above storage conditions. In addition, return the unused wells to the foil pouch containing the desiccant pack and reseal along entire edge of zip-seal.

Test Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to PARC. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody preparation specific to PARC. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain PARC, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of PARC in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

This antimicrobial gene is one of several Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for naive T cells, CD4+ and CD8+ T cells and nonactivated lymphocytes, but not for monocytes or granulocytes. This chemokine attracts naive T lymphocytes toward dendritic cells and activated macrophages in lymph nodes. It may play a role in both humoral and cell-mediated immunity responses. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2014]

Uniprot Description

Chemotactic factor that attracts lymphocytes but not monocytes or granulocytes. May be involved in B-cell migration into B-cell follicles in lymph nodes. Attracts naive T-lymphocytes toward dendritic cells and activated macrophages in lymph nodes, has chemotactic activity for naive T-cells, CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells and thus may play a role in both humoral and cell-mediated immunity responses.

Product Notes

The Human PARC ccl18 (Catalog #AAA4501662) is a RTU ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA4501662 RTU ELISA Kit recognizes Human PARC. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Pulmonary Activation Regulated Chemokine (PARC), RTU ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
