Related Product Information for anti-NT-3 antibody
The protein encoded by NTF3 is a member of the neurotrophin family, that controls survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons. This protein is closely related to both nerve growth factor and brain-derived neurotrophic factor. It may be involved in the maintenance of the adult nervous system, and may affect development of neurons in the embryo when it is expressed in human placenta. NTF3-deficient mice generated by gene targeting display severe movement defects of the limbs. The mature peptide of this protein is identical in all mammals examined including human, pig, rat and mouse. NTF3 (Neurotrophin 3) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with NTF3 include Hypochondriasis and Diabetic Polyneuropathy. Among its related pathways are p70S6K Signaling and Akt Signaling.

Product Notes

The NT-3 ntf3 (Catalog #AAA9710095) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NT-3 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NT-3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-paraffin (IHC-P), ELISA (EIA). IHC-P (1:50-1:200) ELISA (1:10000-1:20000) Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NT-3 ntf3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NT-3, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
