Histone H2B Phospho-Regulation Antibody Sampler Kit
Histone H2B Phospho-Regulation
Background: The nucleosome is a protein complex consisting of four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). Two molecules of eachhistone forms an octamer that makes up the nucleosome. DNA wraps around repeating nucleosome units to generatechromatin structures. The structure of chromatin determines the accessiblity to transcription factors. Post-translationalmodification of the amino-terminal tail of histones in nucleosomes alters chromatin structure to promote or inhibittranscription. Complex alterations in acetylation, methylation, ubiquination, and/or phosphorylation determine thechromatin structural changes that occur during specific phases of the cell cycle or in response to cell stimuli. One mode ofregulating histone H2B activity is through phosphorylation in the amino terminal region. Important sites of phosphorylationinclude Ser-14, Ser-32, and Ser-36. AMPK phosphorylates Ser-36 on histone H2B during cell stress leading to increasedtranscription and cell survival, while ectopic expression of an unphosphorylatable histone H2B during cell stress reducestranscription of AMPK-dependent genes and lowers cell survival.

Product Notes
The Human, Rat, Mouse Histone H2B Phospho-Regulation (Catalog #AAA474374) is an Antibody Sampler Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA474374 Antibody Sampler Kit recognizes Human, Rat, Mouse Histone H2B Phospho-Regulation. AAA Biotech's Histone H2B Phospho-Regulation can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Histone H2B Phospho-Regulation for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Histone H2B Phospho-Regulation, Antibody Sampler Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
