Human Voltage-Dependent Calcium Channel gamma-6 Subunit (CACNG6) ELISA Kit | CACNG6 elisa kit
Human Voltage-Dependent Calcium Channel gamma-6 Subunit (CACNG6) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: CACNg6 represents one of these subunits, gamma, and is one of several gamma subunit proteins. It is an integral membrane protein that is thought to stabilize the calcium channel in an inactive (closed) state. This gene is a member of the neuronal calcium channel gamma subunit gene subfamily of the PMP-22/EMP/MP20 family and is located in a cluster with two similar gamma subunit-encoding genes. The deduced 260-amino acid CACNG6 protein contains 4 transmembrane segments and a highly conserved N-glycosylation site in the first extracellular loop. It has a relatively long N terminus compared with the other CACNG proteins. RT-PCR analysis of 24 adult and fetal tissues detected expression of CACNG6 in all tissues tested except heart, placenta, and colon.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Voltage-dependent calcium channels are composed of five subunits. The protein encoded by this gene represents one of these subunits, gamma, and is one of two known gamma subunit proteins. This particular gamma subunit is an integral membrane protein that is thought to stabilize the calcium channel in an inactive (closed) state. This gene is part of a functionally diverse eight-member protein subfamily of the PMP-22/EMP/MP20 family and is located in a cluster with two family members that function as transmembrane AMPA receptor regulatory proteins (TARPs). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Variants in this gene have been associated with aspirin-intolerant asthma. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2010]

Product Notes
The Human CACNG6 cacng6 (Catalog #AAA9716093) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9716093 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CACNG6. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Voltage-Dependent Calcium Channel gamma-6 Subunit (CACNG6), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
