Related Product Information for TBM elisa kit
Principle of the assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is human TBM monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a glycoprotein that is restricted within the kidney to the basement membranes underlying the epithelium of Bowman's capsule and proximal and distal tubules. Autoantibodies against this protein are found in sera of patients with tubulointerstital nephritis, membranous nephropathy and anti-glomerular basement membrane nephritis. Ontogeny studies suggest that the expression of this antigen is developmentally regulated in a precise spatial and temporal pattern throughout nephrogenesis. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2011]

Uniprot Description

TINAG: Mediates adhesion of proximal tubule epithelial cells via integrins alpha3-beta1 and alphaV-beta3. This is a non catalytic peptidase C1 family protein. Belongs to the peptidase C1 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The Human TBM tinag (Catalog #AAA264707) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA264707 ELISA Kit recognizes Human TBM. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "tubular basement membrane antibogy (TBM), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
