Human
Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of Human PDIA6. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human PDIA6 and analogues was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross- reactivity detection between Human PDIA6 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.

Related Product Information for PDIA6 elisa kit
Description: The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of PDIA6 in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human PDIA6. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and bound by the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human PDIA6 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human PDIA6, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human PDIA6. You can calculate the concentration of Human PDIA6 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

Protein disulfide isomerases (EC 5.3.4.1), such as PDIA6, are endoplasmic reticulum (ER) resident proteins that catalyze formation, reduction, and isomerization of disulfide bonds in proteins and are thought to play a role in folding of disulfide-bonded proteins (Hayano and Kikuchi, 1995 [PubMed 7590364]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]

Uniprot Description

PDIA6: May function as a chaperone that inhibits aggregation of misfolded proteins. Plays a role in platelet aggregation and activation by agonists such as convulxin, collagen and thrombin. Belongs to the protein disulfide isomerase family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The Human PDIA6 pdia6 (Catalog #AAA2500846) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2500846 ELISA Kit recognizes Human PDIA6. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PDIA6, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
