Related Product Information for NBN elisa kit
Priciple of the assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is human NBN monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

NCBI Description

Mutations in this gene are associated with Nijmegen breakage syndrome, an autosomal recessive chromosomal instability syndrome characterized by microcephaly, growth retardation, immunodeficiency, and cancer predisposition. The encoded protein is a member of the MRE11/RAD50 double-strand break repair complex which consists of 5 proteins. This gene product is thought to be involved in DNA double-strand break repair and DNA damage-induced checkpoint activation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

NBS1: a member of the MRE11/RAD50 double-strand break repair complex. Involved in DNA double-strand break repair and DNA damage-induced checkpoint activation. Mutation results in the Nijmegen breakage syndrome (NBS), an autosomal recessive chromosomal instability syndrome.

Product Notes

The Human NBN nbn (Catalog #AAA2602736) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2602736 ELISA Kit recognizes Human NBN. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Nibrin, NBN, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
