Human Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor-Related Protein 10 (LRP10) ELISA Kit | LRP10 elisa kit
Human Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor-Related Protein 10 (LRP10) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: Proteins with EGF-like domains often consist of more than 1,000 amino acids, have multiple copies of the EGF-like domain, and contain additional domains known to be involved in specific protein-protein interactions. The predicted partial LRP4 protein contains 2 EGF-like domains, a calcium binding-type EGF-like domain, 3 LDL receptor-type EGF-like domains, 4 YWTD spacer regions, a transmembrane domain, a cytoplasmic NPXY motif, which is required for clustering and internalization of LDL receptors, and a cytoplasmic tSXV motif, which anchors proteins with a PDZ domain. The sequence and domain organization of LRP4 shows significant similarities to those of members of the LDL receptor family. Northern blot analysis detected rat Megf7 expression in several regions of the brain.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a low density lipoprotein receptor family protein. A similar protein in mouse is thought to play a role in the uptake of apolipoprotein E-containing lipoproteins. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2016]
Uniprot Description
LRP10: Probable receptor, which is involved in the internalization of lipophilic molecules and/or signal transduction. May be involved in the uptake of lipoprotein APOE in liver. Belongs to the LDLR family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Receptor, misc.
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 14q11.2

Product Notes
The Human LRP10 lrp10 (Catalog #AAA9715448) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9715448 ELISA Kit recognizes Human LRP10. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor-Related Protein 10 (LRP10), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
