Human Kinesin-Like Protein KIF20A (KIF20A) ELISA Kit | KIF20A elisa kit
Human Kinesin-Like Protein KIF20A (KIF20A) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: The RAB6KIFL gene spans approximately 8.5 kb of genomic DNA and contains 19 exons. The composite cDNA encodes a deduced 890-amino acid protein that contains a motor domain and an ATP catalytic domain, hallmarks of kinesin-like proteins, in the N terminus. The protein shares 87% sequence identity with the mouse Rab6kifl protein. In contrast to the ubiquitous expression of the mouse protein, expression of the human, approximately 3.4-kb RAB6KIFL transcript appears to be tissue specific. Northern blot analysis detected high expression in fetal tissues and in adult thymus, bone marrow, and testis, and low expression in heart, placenta, and spleen. No expression was detected in brain, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas, or peripheral leukocytes.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
KIF20A: Mitotic kinesin required for chromosome passenger complex (CPC)-mediated cytokinesis. Following phosphorylation by PLK1, involved in recruitment of PLK1 to the central spindle. Interacts with guanosine triphosphate (GTP)-bound forms of RAB6A and RAB6B. May act as a motor required for the retrograde RAB6 regulated transport of Golgi membranes and associated vesicles along microtubules. Has a microtubule plus end-directed motility. Belongs to the kinesin-like protein family.

Product Notes
The Human KIF20A kif20a (Catalog #AAA9715581) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9715581 ELISA Kit recognizes Human KIF20A. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Kinesin-Like Protein KIF20A (KIF20A), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
