Related Product Information for IFN-alpha elisa kit
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Human IFNalpha1 concentrations in serum and plasma, please inquire if your samples are other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human IFNalpha1. Samples (or Standards) are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human IFNalpha1 and Avidin- Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human IFNalpha1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human IFNalpha1. You can calculate the concentration of Human IFNalpha1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Product Notes

The Human IFN-alpha ifna1 (Catalog #AAA2506739) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2506739 ELISA Kit recognizes Human IFN-alpha. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IFN-alpha, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
