Human Dedicator of Cytokinesis Protein 2 (DOCK2) ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the CDM protein family. It is specifically expressed in hematopoietic cells and is predominantly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes. The protein is involved in remodeling of the actin cytoskeleton required for lymphocyte migration in response to chemokine signaling. It activates members of the Rho family of GTPases, for example RAC1 and RAC2, by acting as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) to exchange bound GDP for free GTP. Uniprot Description
DOCK2: a hematopoietic cell-specific CDM family protein that is indispensable for lymphocyte chemotaxis. Plays a role in T cell receptor-induced activation of Rac2 and IL-2 transcription. Interacts with RAC, CRKL, and CD3-zeta. Association with ELMO1 is critical for DOCK2-mediated Rac activation. Two alternatively-spliced isoforms have been described.

Product Notes
The Human DOCK2 dock2 (Catalog #AAA9908378) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9908378 ELISA Kit recognizes Human DOCK2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Dedicator of Cytokinesis Protein 2 (DOCK2), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
