Human Cytoplasmic dynein 1 light intermediate chain 2 (DYNC1LI2) ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Cytoplasmic dynein is a microtubule-associated motor protein (Hughes et al., 1995 [PubMed 7738094]). See DYNC1H1 (MIM 600112) for general information about dyneins.[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]
Uniprot Description
DNCLI2: Acts as one of several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that are thought to be involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 acts as a motor for the intracellular retrograde motility of vesicles and organelles along microtubules. May play a role in binding dynein to membranous organelles or chromosomes. Belongs to the dynein light intermediate chain family.
Protein type: Motility/polarity/chemotaxis
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 16q22.1
Cellular Component: centrosome; microtubule; membrane; cytoplasmic dynein complex; cytosol
Molecular Function: microtubule motor activity; ATP binding
Biological Process: centrosome localization; transport; metabolic process; antigen processing and presentation of exogenous peptide antigen via MHC class II; microtubule cytoskeleton organization and biogenesis; microtubule-based movement

Product Notes
The Human DYNC1LI2 dync1li2 (Catalog #AAA7248160) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7248160 ELISA Kit recognizes Human DYNC1LI2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cytoplasmic dynein 1 light intermediate chain 2 (DYNC1LI2), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
