Human CXC-chemokine receptor 3, CXCR3 ELISA Kit | CXCR3 elisa kit
Human CXC-chemokine receptor 3, CXCR3 ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with human CXCR1 antibody. CXCR1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated human CXCR1 Antibody is added and binds to CXCR1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CXCR1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of human CXCR1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a G protein-coupled receptor with selectivity for three chemokines, termed CXCL9/Mig (monokine induced by interferon-g), CXCL10/IP10 (interferon-g-inducible 10 kDa protein) and CXCL11/I-TAC (interferon-inducible T cell a-chemoattractant). Binding of chemokines to this protein induces cellular responses that are involved in leukocyte traffic, most notably integrin activation, cytoskeletal changes and chemotactic migration. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. One of the isoforms (CXCR3-B) shows high affinity binding to chemokine, CXCL4/PF4 (PMID:12782716). Uniprot Description
Isoform 1: Receptor for the C-X-C chemokine CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11 and mediates the proliferation, survival and angiogenic activity of human mesangial cells (HMC) through a heterotrimeric G-protein signaling pathway (PubMed:12782716). Binds to CCL21. Probably promotes cell chemotaxis response.

Product Notes
The Human CXCR3 cxcr3 (Catalog #AAA164713) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA164713 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CXCR3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CXC-chemokine receptor 3, CXCR3, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
