Related Product Information for CECR1 elisa kit
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the invitro quantitative determination of HumanCECR1concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to CECR1. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for CECR1and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain CECR1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of CECR1.You can calculate the concentration of CECR1in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Uniprot Description

CECR1: Adenosine deaminase that may contribute to the degradation of extracellular adenosine, a signaling molecule that controls a variety of cellular responses. Requires elevated adenosine levels for optimal enzyme activity. Binds to cell surfaces via proteoglycans and may play a role in the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation, independently of its enzyme activity. Belongs to the adenosine and AMP deaminases family. ADGF subfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The Human CECR1 cecr1 (Catalog #AAA2515808) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2515808 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CECR1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CECR1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
