Related Product Information for C-Myb elisa kit
Intended Uses: This C-MYB ELISA kit is intended Laboratory for Research use only. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. In order to measure the concentration of C-MYB in the sample, this C-MYB ELISA Kit includes a set of calibration standards. The calibration standards are assayed at the same time as the samples and allow the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versus C-MYB concentration. The concentration of C-MYB in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a protein with three HTH DNA-binding domains that functions as a transcription regulator. This protein plays an essential role in the regulation of hematopoiesis. This gene may be aberrently expressed or rearranged or undergo translocation in leukemias and lymphomas, and is considered to be an oncogene. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2016]

Uniprot Description

Myb: Transcriptional activator; DNA-binding protein that specifically recognize the sequence 5'-YAAC[GT]G-3'. Plays an important role in the control of proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells. 6 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Transcription factor; Oncoprotein; DNA-binding

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 6q22-q23

Cellular Component: nuclear matrix; cytosol

Molecular Function: protein binding; chromatin binding

Product Notes

The Human C-Myb myb (Catalog #AAA3803841) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA3803841 ELISA Kit recognizes Human C-Myb. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "C-Myb, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
