Usage Notes
* Do not mix components from different kit lots or use reagents beyond the kit expiration date.
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C.

Related Product Information for CCL26 elisa kit
Description: This Human C-C motif chemokine 26 (CCL26) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate CCL26 in samples. An antibody specific for CCL26 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any CCL26 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for CCL26 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CCL26 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Background: Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 26 (CCL26) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also called Eotaxin-3, Macrophage inflammatory protein 4-alpha (MIP-4-alpha), Thymic stroma chemokine-1 (TSC-2), and IMAC. It is expressed by several?????

NCBI Description

This gene is one of two Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q arm of chromosome 7. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for normal peripheral blood eosinophils and basophils. The product of this gene is one of three related chemokines that specifically activate chemokine receptor CCR3. This chemokine may contribute to the eosinophil accumulation in atopic diseases. Product Notes

The Human CCL26 ccl26 (Catalog #AAA9716159) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9716159 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CCL26. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "C-C Motif Chemokine 26 (CCL26), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
