Target Description: This gene encodes a receptor for the OX-2 membrane glycoprotein. Both the receptor and substrate are cell surface glycoproteins containing two immunoglobulin-like domains. This receptor is restricted to the surfaces of myeloid lineage cells and the receptor-substrate interaction may function as a myeloid downregulatory signal. Mouse studies of a related gene suggest that this interaction may control myeloid function in a tissue-specific manner. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants.

Product Notes

The CD200R1 (Catalog #AAA3239462) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD200R1 Peptide - N-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD200R1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD200R1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: NLIIITWEII LRGQPSCTKA YKKETNETKE TNCTDERITW VSRPDQNSDL. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD200R1, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
