Related Product Information for TGFB3 active protein
Background: Transforming growth factor betas (TGFbeta) mediate many cell-cell interactions that occur during embryonic development. Three TGFbetas have been identified in mammals. TGF Beta 1, TGF Beta 2 and TGF Beta 3 are each synthesized as precursor proteins that are very similar in that each is cleaved to yield a 112 amino acid polypeptide that remains associated with the latent portion of the molecule. TGF-beta 3 influences pathogenesis and pulmonary development.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the TGF-beta family of proteins. The encoded protein is secreted and is involved in embryogenesis and cell differentiation. Defects in this gene are a cause of familial arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia 1. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2009]

Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The TGFB3 tgfb3 (Catalog #AAA844176) is an Active Protein produced from Human 293 cell expressed and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TGF-beta 3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TGFB3 tgfb3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TGF-beta 3, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
