Related Product Information for anti-NeuN antibody
Description: Affinity purified Chicken polyclonal NeuN antibody

Biological Significance: The vast majority of neurons are strongly NeuN positive, and NeuN immunoreactivity has been widely used to identify neurons is tissue culture and in sections and to measure the neuron/glial ratio in brain regions. NeuN immunoreactivity becomes obvious as neurons mature, typically after they have downregulated expression of Doublecortin, a marker seen in the earliest stages of neuronal development.

Product Notes

The NeuN rbfox3 (Catalog #AAA837654) is an Antibody produced from Hens and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's NeuN can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Usage Recommendations: ICC: 1:2,000 - 1:5,000 IHC: 11:2,000 - 1:5,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NeuN rbfox3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NeuN, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
