Application Notes
ELISA: This antibody was validated by ELISA binding to recombinant SARS CoV2 RBD Fc (cat#MBS553719) with a EC50 binding affinity of 0.00447 and to the SARS CoV2 S1 (cat#MBS553728) with a binding affinity of 0.011 (see images below).
Source Note
The recombinant antibody was produced in HEK293 cells. It is a chimera of a mouse variable chain, obtained from mice immunized with the SARS COV2 RBD protein ,fused to human IgG1.
Reconstitution
A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers
Preparation and Storage
This antibody can be stored in working aliquots at 2 degree - 8 degree C for one month, or at -20 degree C for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
