Biological Significance
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) are antibody molecules. Each IgG is composed of four peptide chains - two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites. Other Immunoglobulins may be described in terms of polymers with the IgG structure considered the monomer. IgG constitutes 75% of serum immunoglobulins in humans. IgG molecules are synthesized and secreted by plasma B cells.
Preparation and Storage
Store lyophilized product at 4°C. Restore with 2.0mg/ml distilled water. For extended storage add an equal volume of glycerol, aliquot and freeze at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.

AAA Biotech's Goat anti Pig IgG (H + L) (HRP) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). Immunohistochemistry on tissue section: 1:500-1:5000 ELISA and Western Blotting with chromogenic substrates : 1:5000-1:100,000 Western Blotting with ECL substrates: 1:10,000-1:200,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgG for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Goat anti Pig IgG (H + L) (HRP), Secondary Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
