Related Product Information for anti-FOXE1 antibody
FOXE1 or Forkhead box E1 is involved in thyroid morphogenesis. The protein is also expressed in adult brain, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas, heart, colon, small intestine, testis and thymus.

Mutations in this gene are associated with congenital hypothyroidism and cleft palate with thyroid dysgenesis. The map localization of this gene suggests it may also be a candidate gene for squamous cell epithelioma and hereditary sensory neuropathy type I.

NCBI Description

This intronless gene encodes a protein that belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors. Members of this family contain a conserved 100-amino acid DNA-binding 'forkhead' domain. The encoded protein functions as a thyroid transcription factor that plays a role in thyroid morphogenesis. Mutations in this gene are associated with the Bamforth-Lazarus syndrome, and with susceptibility to nonmedullary thyroid cancer-4. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2016]

Uniprot Description

FOXE1: Probable transcription factor. Could be involved in thyroid gland organogenesis. Defects in FOXE1 are the cause of Bamforth-Lazarus syndrome (BLS). BLS is associated with thyroid agenesis, cleft palate and choanal atresia.

Product Notes

The FOXE1 foxe1 (Catalog #AAA555920) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FOXE1 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FOXE1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FOXE1 foxe1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FOXE1, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
