Biological Significance
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) are antibody molecules. Each IgG is composed of four peptide chains - two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites. Other Immunoglobulins may be described in terms of polymers with the IgG structure considered the monomer. IgG constitutes 75% of serum immunoglobulins in humans. IgG molecules are synthesized and secreted by plasma B cells.
Cross-Reactivity
No reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin bovine serum proteins.
Immunogen
Goat anti-Bovine IgG (H + L) was raised in goat using purified Bovine IgG (H&L) as the immunogen.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C.

Product Notes

The IgG (Catalog #AAA539814) is a Secondary Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti Bovine IgG (H + L) reacts with Bovine and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Goat anti Bovine IgG (H + L) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, User optimized. The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgG for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Goat anti Bovine IgG (H + L), Secondary Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
