Related Product Information for GNAI3 recombinant protein
Recombinant human GNAI3 (2-end) was expressed in E Coli cells using an N-terminal GST tag. The gene of GNAI3 accession number is NM_006496.
Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) are heterotrimeric signal-transducing molecules consisting of alpha, beta, and gamma subunits, and function as transducers downstream of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) in numerous signaling cascades. The alpha subunit binds guanine nucleotide, can hydrolyze GTP, and can interact with other proteins. G protein subunit alpha i3 (GNAI3) stimulates the activity of receptor-regulated K+ channels. The active GTP-bound form prevents the association of RGS14 with centrosomes and is required for the translocation of RGS14 from the cytoplasm to the plasma membrane. May play a role in cell division.

Product Notes

The GNAI3 (Catalog #AAA517024) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's GNAI3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Enzyme Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GNAI3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GNAI3, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
