Biological Significance
GMF-beta a brain-specific protein that belongs to the actin-binding proteins (ADF) structural family. GMF-beta appears to play a role in the differentiation, maintenance, and regeneration of the nervous system. It also supports the progression of certain auto-immune diseases, possibly through its ability to induce the production and secretion of various pro-inflammatory cytokines.

Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per ug (1 EU/ug).
Expression System
E Coli
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C until reconstitution. Following reconstitution aliquot and freeze at -20 degree C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Product Notes

The GMF beta gmfb (Catalog #AAA539373) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's GMF beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, User optimized. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GMF beta gmfb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Region of GMF beta protein correspond ing to amino acids SESLVVCDVA EDLVEKLRKF RFRKETNNAA IIMKIDKDKR LVVLDEELEG ISPDELKDEL PERQPRFIVY SYKYQHDDGR VSYPLCFIFS SPVGCKPEQQ MMYAGSKNKL VQTAELTKVF EIRNTEDLTE EWLREKLGFF H. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GMF beta, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
