Reactivity
Monkey
Synonyms
Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor; Monkey Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor ELISA Kit; GCSF elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Monkey
Specificity
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Monkey GCSF and analogues was observed.
Samples
Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces, Urine and Body Fluids
Assay Type
Sandwich
Detection Range
6.25 pg/ml - 200 pg/ml.
Sensitivity
1.0 pg/ml.
Intended Uses
This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic applications! It is intended to be determinated GCSF concentrations in Monkey serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Monkey GCSF antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add GCSF and GCSF antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of GCSF in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean x100]
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes. The active protein is found extracellularly. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]

Uniprot Description

G-CSF: Granulocyte/macrophage colony-stimulating factors are cytokines that act in hematopoiesis by controlling the production, differentiation, and function of 2 related white cell populations of the blood, the granulocytes and the monocytes-macrophages. This CSF induces granulocytes. Belongs to the IL-6 superfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The Monkey GCSF csf3 (Catalog #AAA017118) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA017118 ELISA Kit recognizes Monkey GCSF. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
