Then, it transfers the phosphoryl group to the sugar substrate concomitantly with the sugar uptake processed by the EIIC domain.The EIIA domain is phosphorylated by phospho-HPr on a histidyl residue. Then, it transfers the phosphoryl group to the EIIB domain.
