Protein Construction: Recombinant Human FCGR1A is produced by our mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Gln16-Pro288 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.

Background: CD64 (FcgammaRI), one of the Fc receptors for IgG, is a membrane glycoprotein that mediates endocytosis, phagocytosis, antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity, cytokine release, and superoxide production. CD64 is also structurally distinct, containing an extracellular Ig-interactive region of three Ig-like domains in contrast to the two domains of the low affinity receptors FcgammaRII and FcgammaRIII. It is normally expressed on the surfaces of monocytes and macrophages.

Product Notes

The FCGR1A fcgr1a (Catalog #AAA2557264) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Gln16-Pro2 88. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Fc gamma RI/FCGR1A/CD64, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
