Related Product Information for ansA enzyme
L-Asparaginase is an enzyme that depletes L-Asparagine an important nutrient for cancer cells resulting in cancer/tumor cell starvation. L-asparaginase is an anti-tumor agent derived from E.coli, which can inhibit the growth of malignant cells. It is used mainly for the induction of remission in acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Because of the lymph node origin of malignant B cells in Multiple Myeloma, L-Asparagine is an essential amino acid for their cell metabolism, and, consequently, L-Asparaginase may be of value in managing the disease

Description: L-Asparaginase produced from E. coli containing 303 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 31.73kD.

Product Notes

The ansA (Catalog #AAA654005) is an Enzyme produced from Escherichia Coli. and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "L-Asparaginase, Enzyme" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
