Related Product Information for BIRC7 active protein
Livin/BIRC7 is a member of the inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP) family. Its inhibits apoptosis through the inhibition of CASP3, CASP7, CASP9 and shows E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase activity. It promotes Smac/DIABLO degradation by ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. It is expressed in fetal tissues and most solid tumors in humans. Livin/BIRC7 expression is a novel prognostic marker in adult acute leukemia. It might be involved in adrenocortical tumorigenesis and represents a new molecular marker of malignancy.

Product Notes

The BIRC7 (Catalog #AAA8400697) is an Active Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Livin/BIRC7, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
