Highly Purified
95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain. Endotoxin: 0.1 EU/ug (LAL).
Form/Format
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS with 50ug of BSA per 1ug as a carrier protein. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 0.1% HSA or BSA to 10ug/ml.
Activity
Measured by its ability to induce IL-10 secretion in COLO 205 human colorectal adenocarcinoma cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 60-300pg/ml.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 0.1% HSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for IL22 active protein
Mouse IL-22 Interleukin-22 (IL-22), also known as IL-10-related T cell-derived inducible factor (IL-TIF) was initially identified as a gene induced by IL-9 in mouse T cells and mast cells. Mouse IL-22 cDNA encodes a 179 amino acid (aa) residue protein with a putative 33 aa signal peptide that is cleaved to generate a 147 aa mature protein that shares approximately 79% and 22% aa sequence identity with human IL-22 and IL-10, respectively. The mouse IL-22 gene is localized to chromosome 10. Although it exists as a single copy gene in many mouse strains, the IL-22 gene is duplicated in some mouse strains including C57B1/6, FVB and 129. The two mouse genes designated IL-TIFa and IL-TIFb, share greater than 98% sequence homology in their coding region. IL-22 has been shown

Product Notes

The IL22 il22 (Catalog #AAA650455) is an Active Protein produced from E coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interleukin 22, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
