The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Met-Glu-Arg-Thr-Arg.
Biological Activity
Recombinant 4-1BBr is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The activity was determined by the inhibition of 4-1BB ligand mediated stimulation of IL-8 production by human PBMC. Results: 90% inibition using 1µg for both human 4-1BB ligand and human 4-1BB receptor.

Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized human 4-1BB Receptor in sterile 18M -cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Stability: Lyophilized recombinant human 4-1BB Receptor although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 degree C. Upon reconstitution human 1-4BB Receptor should be stored at 4 degree C between 2-7 days and for future use below -180C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
