Related Product Information for Dsbc recombinant protein
Dsbc, also known as Protein disulfide isomerase II, belong to the Dsb family. DsbC is periplasmic enzyme known as a disulfide isomerase and can convert aberrant disulfide bonds to correct ones. DsbC consists of 236 amino acids containing signal peptide (1-20 amino acids). Recombinant E Coli Dsbc was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

NCBI Description

DsbC rearranges incorrect disulfide bonds during oxidative protein folding. [More information is available at EcoGene: EG11070].

Uniprot Description

Acts as a disulfide isomerase, interacting with incorrectly folded proteins to correct non-native disulfide bonds. DsbG and DsbC are part of a periplasmic reducing system that controls the level of cysteine sulfenylation, and provides reducing equivalents to rescue oxidatively damaged secreted proteins. Acts by transferring its disulfide bond to other proteins and is reduced in the process. DsbC is reoxidized by DsbD.

Product Notes

The Dsbc dsbc (Catalog #AAA206801) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Dsbc can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Dsbc dsbc for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MDDAAIQQTL AKMGIKSSDI QPAPVAGMKT VLTNSGVLYI TDDGKHIIQG PMYDVSGTAP VNVTNKMLLK QLNALEKEMI VYKAPQEKHV ITVFTDITCG YCHKLHEQMA DYNALGITVR YLAFPRQGLD SDAEKEMKAI WCAKDKNKAF DDVMAGKSVA PASCDVDIAD HYALGVQLGV SGTPAVVLSN GTLVPGYQPP KEMKEFLDEH QKMTSGK. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Dsbc, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
