Related Product Information for LH elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with goat-anti-rabbit antibody. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with an antibody specific for LH and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated LH. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with HRP labeled LH and unlabeled LH with the antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of LH in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes the receptor for both luteinizing hormone and choriogonadotropin. This receptor belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family, and its activity is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylate cyclase. Mutations in this gene result in disorders of male secondary sexual character development, including familial male precocious puberty, also known as testotoxicosis, hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, Leydig cell adenoma with precocious puberty, and male pseudohermaphtoditism with Leydig cell hypoplasia. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Function: Receptor for lutropin-choriogonadotropic hormone. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylate cyclase.

Product Notes

The Dog LH lhcgr (Catalog #AAA701615) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA701615 ELISA Kit recognizes Dog LH. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Luteinizing Hormone, LH, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
