Human dedicator of cytokinesis 2 ELISA Kit | DOCK2 elisa kit
Human DediCator of cytokinesis protein 2, DOCK2 ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the CDM protein family. It is specifically expressed in hematopoietic cells, predominantly in the peripheral blood leukocytes, and is involved in remodeling of the actin cytoskeleton required for lymphocyte migration, through the activation of RAC. Mice lacking this gene show a severe impairment in the migration and homing of lymphocytes. These mutant mice also exhibited long-term survival of allografts, suggesting that this gene may be a target for controlling transplant rejection. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011]
Uniprot Description
DOCK2: a hematopoietic cell-specific CDM family protein that is indispensable for lymphocyte chemotaxis. Plays a role in T cell receptor-induced activation of Rac2 and IL-2 transcription. Interacts with RAC, CRKL, and CD3-zeta. Association with ELMO1 is critical for DOCK2-mediated Rac activation. Two alternatively-spliced isoforms have been described.

Product Notes
The Human DOCK2 dock2 (Catalog #AAA9322997) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9322997 ELISA Kit recognizes Human DOCK2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "dedicator of cytokinesis 2, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
