Related Product Information for Crp recombinant protein
CRP, also known as c-reactive protein, is a member of the pentraxin family of proteins. It promotes agglutination, bacterial capsular swelling, phagocytosis and complement fixation through its calcium-dependent binding to phosphorylcholine. Recombinant mouse CRP, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Uniprot Description

Displays several functions associated with host defense: it promotes agglutination, bacterial capsular swelling, phagocytosis and complement fixation through its calcium-dependent binding to phosphorylcholine. Can interact with DNA and histones and may scavenge nuclear material released from damaged circulating cells.

Product Notes

The Crp crp (Catalog #AAA206311) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Baculovirus and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The tag for this protein is His-tag. AAA Biotech's C-reactive can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Crp crp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: HEDMFKKAFV FPKESDTSYV SLEAESKKPL NTFTVCLHFY TALSTVRSFS VFSYATKKNS NDILIFWNKD KQYTFGVGGA EVRFMVSEIP EAPTHICASW ESATGIVEFW IDGKPKVRKS LHKGYTVGPD ASIILGQEQD SYGGDFDAKQ SLVGDIGDVN MWDFVLSPEQ ISTVYVGGTL SPNVLNWRAL NYKAQGDVFI KPQLWSLEHH HHHH. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "C-reactive, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
