Related Product Information for Forskolin biochemical
Forskolin is a powerful activator of adenyklate cyclase, resulting in an increase of intracellular cAMP concentration.1,2 Activates adenylate cyclase leading to an increase in the intracellular concentration of cAMP. Widely used tool for the investigation of the role of cAMP as a second messenger with a broad range of potential therapeutic applications. Inotropic agent and vasodilator. Induces platelet aggregation. Inhibits ion channels by a mechanism that does not involve cAMP. Non-competitive inhibitor of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors.

Product Notes

The Forskolin (Catalog #AAA6098026) is a Biochemical produced from Coleus forskohlii and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Forskolin, Biochemical" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
