Related Product Information for CMA1 elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti- CMA1 antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti- CMA1 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRPStreptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the CMA1 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of CMA1 can be calculated.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a chymotryptic serine proteinase that belongs to the peptidase family S1. It is expressed in mast cells and is thought to function in the degradation of the extracellular matrix, the regulation of submucosal gland secretion, and the generation of vasoactive peptides. In the heart and blood vessels, this protein, rather than angiotensin converting enzyme, is largely responsible for converting angiotensin I to the vasoactive peptide angiotensin II. Alternative splicing results in multiple variants. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2015]

Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The Human CMA1 cma1 (Catalog #AAA761959) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA761959 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CMA1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Chymase, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
