Chickens were immunized with DYKDDDDK epitope (DYKDDDDK) conjugated to KLH. After multiple immunizations, eggs were collected and the immunoglobulin fraction prepared. Antibodies were immunoaffinity purified using the peptide immobilized on a solid support.
